Congrats to big-hearted volunteers

Congratulations go to a group of local women who recently passed a volunteer programme which will help them to ‘befriend’ the elderly in east Belfast.
Anne Wallace, Agnes Boyles, Dora Robinson and Debbie Walker have passed Equipping Befriender’s Programme OCN Level 2 with flying colours.
The programme, run by Oasis, is aimed at volunteers who visit older people who are isolated and lonely in east Belfast and provides befrienders with the skills, knowledge and advice they will need.
