Council to get £15m
for new Olympic pool

North Down Borough Council is to receive up to £15 million towards the costs of building a 50m Olympic sized swimming pool in Bangor.

Detectives in North Down have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body at a guesthouse in Princetown Road, Bangor.

Bangor's new recycling centre has opened on Balloo Avenue.

Tourism in Ards has received a boost after the local tourist information centre was commended in the latest Northern Ireland tourist awards.
