UCF London triathlon call
Tuesday, 1 July 2008
The Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF) is calling on all sporting enthusiasts to register for the Mazda London Triathlon and raise funds to help local people affected by cancer.
Thirty-five year old cancer survivor Geoff Mitchell from Bangor is taking part in the London Triathlon to raise funds for UCF. He said that both he and his wife had survived cancer.
“Cancer is common to many families in Northern Ireland and the money I raise for UCF will help provide care and support services for people who have been affected by the disease,” Geoff said.
UCF still has guaranteed places available. It costs £100 to register (non-refundable) and participants need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £800.
For further information or to register please call Sarah at UCF on 9068 0765.
