South Belfast primary school parents have called on the Northern Ireland
Assembly to “stop playing political football” with the future of the 11 plus
transfer test.
Nelson Mandela has accepted a unique honour from Queen’s to mark its
centenary as a university.
The fourth Sandy Row Community & Cultural Festival kicks off on
Friday, July 4, with a week-long programme of events taking place in the
run-up to the annual Twelfth celebrations.
Ballynafeigh Orange Lodge will be holding its annual lodge parade this
Friday, July 5, in preparation for the main Twelfth parades the following
week.
Lisburn Road’s Morton Community Centre’s After School Club unveiled special
mosaic murals at the centre last week.
