Appeal for witnesses

Police investigating a fatal road accident at the weekend have re-issued their appeal for information.

Pedestrian Norman Russsell, 83, died after being struck by a car on the Shankill Road last Friday, June 20.

The accident happened at the junction of Conway Street just before 8am. A PSNI spokeswoman said police were particularly keen to speak to the driver of a Volvo car which was in the area at the time of the crash.
